i do a zine called "Attack of Zombie Soy Bot," i just finished my second issue. i just write about things that have happened to me, funny and sad. I put drawings i do in them and i review one album.
my new issue i talk about: a friends death, a failed raft trip, new flavor of PEZ, this awkward back rub and other things.

The Cousteau’s (Justin and mine’s band) are releasing a split CD with Phil Surgeon's One Man Bomb Squadron . The titled of the split is: Let's Go Ride Our Bikes with: Phil Surgeon's One Man Bomb Squadron and The Cousteau’s . Its going to be released on Raise Your Fist Records . It should be ready for sale on December 8th. You can preorder the album now from Raise Your Fist Records (their myspace and their site ). It’s going to cost $5.

I have been scared for live by a movie called: Palindrome
Justin came down for the weekend and we went to an avant-garde film fest. The day was so great. I love how my friends can not see each other for a long time and it seems like nothing has changed.
I got this great idea from my friends Betsy and Andy. They have a wall at there place with paper on it so they can draw or whatever on it. So I got some cardboard out of the dumpster and pinned it to my walls. Now I can try out my stencils before they go anywhere. Here’s them after three days.

I got $2000 from that woman’s insurance company, who hit me.
I don’t know if I should get a car though, I mean we'll be in Pittsburgh with buses and stuff and Amanda has a car.
My mom said she'll sell me her car.

I can’t decide.

The other day I had to see one of the most horrible things ever. I watched a girl try to use a mail box. But here’s the horrible part. She had no idea how to use it. She could not figure out how to open it and drop the letter it. I just stood there a minute and watched. She poked it, hit it and punched it. The poking was the best. I just could not believe it. I just could not understand. After a minute of watching, my brain started to hurt. So instead of showing her how to just it, I just walked away. Amanda stopped her and dropped her letter in the box and gave her a smile. Then I said out loud, “what the fuck was that? How does she not know how to use a mailbox?” yeah I’m a dick but it was very painful to watch. I am sure she did not hear me.

So back at school…
I have my own room, which is very nice. I really like the people I live with. Alyssa is going to school down here so that’s boss. Not having a car is a bummer but not paying $3.40 a gallon for gas is nice. Amanda lets me use her car to go skating here and there.
Last weekend I went home for Nick’s going away party. He’s moving to Japan to teach English. His party was great. I saw people I have not seen since I graduated high school or a couple of years.
Mark is coming down this weekend if the weather is nice. Tom and Glen might come too. We are going to go to Queens and skate flushing on Saturday. It’s in a ton of skate videos. I can’t wait. Mark and I have always wanted to skate there.
The last week of summer, mark and I edited together our parts for the HCS video, which will be out soon. My part came our pretty good. I am so happy to finally get a part in a HCS video. Ever since I started hanging out with Derek and watched one of his videos I always wanted to have apart in one. Mark’s part might be the best part I have ever seen. It took 3 and half hours to make. It’s amazing.

today someone hit me while i was in my car. they hit me so hard my front drive side wheel is in my engine. the cop was a dick and did not fault anyone. so their insurance does not have to pay for my damage. it was their fault too. their car is fine, my is done, so i wont have a car until i buy a new one. I dont have that kind of money. my car would cost a lot more than its worth to fix. The only way to get mine fixed and i dont have to pay for anything is to sue them. but i dont sue.

This is a short version of my trip. These photos are mostly by Mark and I. Amanda took some too. Most of them are artistry ones. Mark and i could not help it. (sorry about the size of some of these.)

Friday:
So we left Binghamton, NY and drove to Elmira, NY, to skate at the park. Then we drove to Cleveland, OH. Walked around Cleveland and made dinner. Cleveland on a Friday night is nothing to write home about. Our first stop in the trip was cedar point amusement park in Sandusky, OH. Yes where Tommy Boy is based. We decided to be at the amusement park on Saturday. So Friday night we stayed on a dead end road off the highway. Right next to the train tracks. Bad move. A train went by every 20 minutes all night. It was horrible. We should have moved but we set up the tent and everything. The train shook everything.

Saturday:
This is for the morning after the train thing.

We went to was cedar point amusement park and it was fun. Amanda, Mark and I ate food out of the garbage cans there so we did not have to buy food. People throw away so much half eaten food and drinks there. Steve was not down for it. But he was the sucka paying $5 for a soda. Then we went swimming in Lake Erie. The water was so warm and great. Then our next stop was the DC Skate Plaza in Kettering, OH.

We slept that night in Kettering, OH at a school, in between some trees. The school thought we were on the neighbor’s side and the neighbors thought we were on the schools side.

Sunday:
We skated the DC Skate Plaza. It is amazing.

It started to pour that night around 8pm so we drove to Pittsburgh that night. We stayed with Betsy and Andy.

Tuesday:
Derek came down for the day and Jamal lives down in Pittsburgh now. So we drove around to spots and skated/rode. We stopped for 89 cent slushies a lot.

Here's the trailer for the video
The new TWEEK video is in the final stages, and will be premiered on August 2nd. The location is an interesting choice: underneath a bridge by the traintracks. The bridge is down by ECT, near the Olum's warehouse, Mr. Whipple's, the one carousel, and the old storage building that is empty. Park at any available parking lot and walk down underneath the bridge. Video starts at dusk.
I have a part in the video!

If you are under the age of twenty, most likely I hate you!
All day one of my co-workers found out I was 23 and all day I have had to listen to “you’re so old, I can’t believe you’re 23!” He’s 19 and training to be a cage fighter..... enough said!
My partner in my French class was supposed to email me her half of the project today. I never got that email. She’s a high school student (age 17) that’s taking the French class for credit. So this means I have to do what she promised to do. If I don’t do it we both get a F. I can’t fail this class. This means I have to take time out of my skateboarding time tonight to work on this project. DON’T FUCK WITH MY WHEELIE BOARD TIME! I'LL FUCKING KILL YOU!

This weekend mark and I drove to Elmira to the skatepark out there. Greco and his friend Dylan met us out there. It was a really great time. But in the first 20 minutes I was the most scared I have ever been skateboarding. Mark went to kickflip 5050 this ledge and landed with his board upside down on the ledge. So he slipped out and bounced his head off the ground. It was the hardest I’ve ever seen a head hit the ground in person. Mark stands up wobbling saying “no no no........... take me to the hospital.......... I have to go............ ok just give me five minutes!......... Ithaca’s skatepark has changed a lot” I went and got Greco to help me out with everything. So I found out where the hospital was so we could go. However mark wanted to stay. So I came over and checked on him every ten minutes. I would talk to him about things and I looked into his eyes and I could tell that this brain was lost. So after 45 minutes mark was back to normal. Except that he does not remembering driving to Elmira or anything before falling and anything after he fell for 30 minutes. I could tell he could not remember anything because we talked about this kids wheels and how big they were. Then two hours later he told me to look at how big those kid’s wheels were. I told him we talked about that when I was sitting with him after he fell. It was scary.

Amanda quit her job because she would rather have the pie I made for her then work. Amazing!
I went to buffalo this weekend. I watched the world cup with a soccer family. It’s a lot different then just watching it with anyone.
Haircut. Combed down mohawk/devillock or comb over, depends on the day.
Mark and I have been skating a lot. Filming for the new HCS video.
Justin and I made a new band called The Cousteau’s and switch But I’m a Career Boy back to twenty second songs.
Today that womyn who told me a bunch of this stuff to clean up my look came in and told me some more. She said that she could bring in some exercise magazines so I could lose my belly. She said that all the guys want a rock hard stomach. Then said I am not fat but I could work on my stomach. I told her that I was fine with my stomach. But thank you. I think she thinks i cant get the ladies... maybe i should tell her about the dee.
Mark and I are planning our August skate trip. It’s going to be sick. I’m only spending money on gas. Saving up my money for this trip off all trips. When it’s finalized I’ll tell the plans.
Second session of summer school starts today.

Today at the library I felt like a real librarian. I helped a womyn fine a section of books. I was not lame and just sent her off. I walked with her to find it. She was really thankful. Maybe this is a new librarian thing I am going to start. Its called caring.

So this is how a conversation went at work today with my mom:
“What are you wearing?”
“ummm a good clean fun t-shirt and jeans.”
“Are those the ones you wore for the last three days?”
“Yeah”
“The ones with the hole in the knee and wholes in the behind. I can see your boxers.”
“Ok, I wear these ones skating, I’m skating tonight.”
“Why would you wear those to work? Maybe you need to start dressing up a little better when you come to work.”
“HAHAH good one!”

my dad is ok, just his basment is flooded, it has taken him two days to get rid of the water but its still coming in through the ground. i am happy he is alright, but some of my friends places are ruined

I just got word that HCS is completely under water. 8 feet of water in the parking lot and the whole first floor of the shop is under. all the ramps outside are floating around. I don't know if they'll be able to recover from this.
At the start of the flooding I was numb to it because I have been stuck outside Binghamton and I have not seen it first hand. My dad lives over where most of the flooding is happening and I have not heard from him. This scares the shit out of me. I am so upset and shocked to it all. I don’t know, its nuts.

So today at work, this womyn who calls me “brave,” brave because I have my ears gauged out a ½ inch and she hates needles. So she comes in today and starts to small chat with me, like she always does. Today she was great. She told me that I need to stop marking up my body.
“You’re a handsome man and you mark up yourself. Stop it. You hide behind those dorky glasses and that hat. That hat! You’re very good looking, why hide it? You need to get some designer glasses that don’t make you look like a dork. You have all of your hair, why wear that hat? Let me see your teeth. You have all of your teeth. You’re a good looking man. Stop marking up your body. When you meet a girl she’s going to wish you never had those markings. So stop it now, next time I see you with that hat I am going to take it. So stop it. You could be a very good looking man. so stop ruining it.”
I was smiling and blushing the whole time
